    Default Siege battles

    Question. How are siege battles around cities? Are there problems with siege weapons and rams, etc? I just want to know that we have solved the issues we had there before.

    Shouldn't be......that was due to the way the map_ground_types and descr_geography were configured in RS1.6 with some sparse forest around settlements and the layout files for forests being big with lots of gaps in them (so to get any significant amount of trees you had to have lots of the forest ground type on the battlemap even where the weren't any trees.....now the forest layout files code for pretty continuous forest and the gaps are created within the descr_geography file.
