The first movie was good.
The second movie wasn't nearly as good, but for some reason most of the people I know seemed to like it more.
This move will probably be even worse and somehow even more liked, nearing Jeff Dunham levels of stupidity and popularity.

It's going to be retarded, because the father and Gaylord are suddenly going to hate eachother again for no goddamn reason in a lazy attempt to try to copy the original.

Why would a grandmother refer to her grandchildren as "Little Fockers"? In the same way that a grandmother from the Smith family wouldn't refer to her grandchildren as "Little Smiths". That set the tone for the rest of the trailer, seems like they are just going for the cheap laughs
Agree with this. They fixed their mistrust in the last two movies. Now Gaylord is married with 2 children, it must be about 5 years later at least. What could randomly come up to make them hate each other?
Every single joke in that trailer was terrible. Talk about a bad looking movie. All I know is that I enjoyed Teri Polo in Playboy and I hope Harvey Keitel goes all Bad Lieutenant in the movie. I won't be seeing it.

I kinda wanna see it just to see him cut his thumb off while carving the turkey... I'm not one for fake violence--or real violence--but that actually made me laugh.
The one thing I hated about this franchise was the name. I thought that in the first movie the name was spelled Fokkers, which is a legit name in my opinion, and knowing about the German banking family the Fuggers I can emphathize with a family cursed with an unfortunate name like that. But then I find out that the writers just changed the u to an o? That's just sloppy, it's not clever, it's lame.
Oddly enough, though, that's pretty much the only problem I have with it. That and the granny saying that about her grandkids, too. That doesn't even fit her character very well, I mean, yeah she's the first one who realized her daughter's name would be "Elizabetha Martha Focker" but calling their grandkids that is more something Robbies character would do.

Thinking Outside the Bokks since 2008...
Indeed. ''Fokker'' was, and still is, a quite common name with Dutchmen and probably Germans.

Fokker would be a very plausible name, which would be kinda ruined by the fact that they're a Jewish family anyway, and there's no goddamn reason for them to have that name. That's like a white family being called the Nguyens or Kumars.

I disagree. Correct me if i'm wrong, but don't alot of Jewish people in America have German or at least German-ish names? Usually ending with -berg or similar.

Yeah, that's due to the Yiddisch/Azkenazim past of many Jews, specially those in America. But those tend to be traditional Jewish names which were Germanified, and typical ones like those ending in -berg, -stein and -mann, as these were typical Christian surnames which they often adopted because they sounded the most typically German.
But ''Fokker'' isn't a German name. It's Dutch. And few Jews have Dutch surnames.
