Well in the download section in big red bold obvious letters it says:

WARNING: This mod will cause Vanilla, BI and Alexander not to work and is not compatible with any other mod

If that doesnt give you a hint i dont know what else they can do.

It did't say that it's modfoldered because you shouldn't have to say what it isn't.
Mod that are modfoldered usually have that on top of their list.

Why would you want to play the normal RTW anyway?

Roma Surrectum has WAY better graphics, unit skins, and in-depth game play.

I would be depressed if I went back to playing normal RTW...

And if you do go back to normal R:TW you'll be doing this:

    Plain and simple.

Yeah I uninstalled everything and reinstalled RTW vanilla in order to be ready
for RS 2. I did a big custom battle on vanilla for the "fun" of it.
    About 30 seconds in I was ...

Trying to play vanilla again reveals even more how much the RS team is doing for us!
I are so excited for 2...

I always keep a fresh vanilla install beside my RS install for other mods that are modfoldered. In addition, I have vanilla file backups on disc.

But with that said, vanilla might not be of the caliber that mods like RS, XGM, and EB are, but it still has its own charms.

    Alright, cheers mate.

I confused at first, so looked on the install page on saw that BIG BLOG OF RED WARNING. You're not alone, a lot of us are used to mod-foldered mods.
