Can't edit map_regions

Hello there, I've got a problem by trying to modify the EB map regions. I've edited the map_regions borders file with Photoshop, as usual, and deleted all of the three map.rwm files in EB, but once I start the game that keeps always the original map on. And the map.rwm files don't regenerate as well. I've tried a lot of times and no result. Why can't I change the regions_map as I'm used to with all RTW mods? What's wrong? What have I to do to get over this and edit the map? Please, help me and thanks anyway

I also found a similar thread this, and I guess the problem is the same as well, but I couldn't quite understand the given answer and how to make it work.

The given solution is to not start EB with the created 'EB-Singleplayer' shortcut in your RTW folder. You will have to create a new shortcut to RomeTW.exe and edit the target line. Here you add: -mod:eb -show_err -ne

The reason is that the Trivial Script has a backup map.rwm and replaces it every time it is started to have a 100% functional version.

I just did as you said: I created a new RTW desktop shortcut, I edited the line by adding -mod:eb -show_err-ne, but that didn't work. It opened my EB game in a smaller window and it didn't regenerate the .rwm files. What am I doing wrong?

Are you running Vista/Win7 and installed it under Program Files? Try to run it with administrator-rights, this could help. Are you suer you deleted all files? Maybe you can find them with search function better.

I'm actually running Win7 and I used to install RTW plus EB under Program Files. Now I will uninstall everything, delete all folders and try again. That'd be right if I installed the game just in C:/TheCreativeAssembly/RTW - then again on that EB?
