    Default Help adding faction spacific artillary

    I'm trying to add a few new artillery units to be built by spacific factions only and am having some trouble. I fallowed the tutorial about creating new units and have successfully added a couple new infantry units but I'm unable to make my artillery units work. They wont even display in the game.

    With these units I'm also wanting edit the projectiles stats, giving these units there own projectile types with there own ranges and and stuff. Basically I want to create new projectiles too. But I'm not sure how to make everything match up so the right units are shooting the right projectiles.

    Artillery Revamp

What this means is that as the player/faction researches a technology (in this case, Artillery techs) new units become available and old units become unavailable. Previously, this was accomplished only through buildings. Now, however, it is entirely possible to keep 17th-Century Cannons all the way through the game if you so desire.

    Additionally, there has been a change to explosion graphics. Howitzers no longer cause that funny-looking fountain effect but rather are simple large explosions.

    Thanks for the reply. I already figured it out though, I didnt click off the colum for selecting the gun ID in my units table, so when I hit save it didn't except the change and restored it to the original ID, thus not useing the one I had created. Clicking off the colum before saving so that it was highlighted in pink solved this and my custom artillery works just fine

    By the way, I instaled IS2 a few days ago, AWESOME!!
