    Default Arnor & orcs of gundabad units and events sub mod SCRIPTERS WANTED, unit descriptions needed.

    intro in this sub mod i am going to have a number of events ready, now i dont know how to mod at all, so HELP WANTEDEOPLE WHO ARE GOOD UNITS, MAP, AND EVENTS MODDERS

    here is what we have done so far, units for arnor (by my knolage done), we have given arnor instead of 2 banner carriers an officer and a banner carrier, we have done that with many factions, and plan to do that with them all, made some more units for gondor, rebalanced rohan, OoG units done. scripting events WANTED SCRIPTER
    and scripting for training (underway)

    the team: me KaISERE1993, mattgoby, deepcrush, Narf,agentGB, and Lord Uxbridge

    I know a bit of the basics, and i have ideas for the submod. Are u just gonna add a script events first , like your previous idea 'the orc raid'. just spawn an army of gundabad near an arnor city. Or do u have other plans?

    this is just the begginging stages, my miond is full of ideas for this mod and for arnor, now the orc raid will be one of the beggining ecvents im planning on a chalanging sub-mod (as in making the game alot harder) with new units, new events (including 'the orc raid event that will spawn an army near fornost and hoarwell) and maybe events that can re create anagmar, also i have ideas for creating new units, and an angagmar roster if that works out, all ideas and help are most gratified

    I will look into some tutorials on new units, i suggest not making entirley new models of gundabad units but making variations like in the additional unit mod released recently

    thats probably the better option, some of them will not change, like the goblin bands and snagas

    I will experiment on my third age tonight and try to get to grips, i remember a bit how to do units, i added musketeers to england a while ago on stainless steel. Its the faction emergence of angmar that i have no clue about which i think you need help with

    You want to have a Angmar for OoG, like arnor to eriador?

    Thats gonna take some work, thats for sure

    This is an extremely ambitious project, especially for someone who has no modding experience. I'll wish you guys good luck, but I've been involved in several modding communities over the past two and a half years, and nearly every project that I've seen lead by someone with no modding talents has failed miserably. I'd recommend that you start out with a considerably smaller project.

    I think it is a bit too ambitious at the moment, i agree with starting a smaller project first

    only problem with angmar is that they were lead by the witch king and his band of weird generals lol

    so one question you might want to look at is whether you are going to take TWK out of mordor to lead angmar?

    Another one will be making settlement to represent the old northern empire of angmar.

    your army will consist of a huge variety of trolls for this was the strength of angmar, and plenty of powerful units like the men of the north who betrayed arnor. which i think might unbalance the game to where they are a dominant faction.

    just giving my feed back on the idea, and if you do get this going i would be the first one to download it because arnor vs angmar will be an awesome campaign =)

    yeah i think angmar would be a good idea except maybe for the trolls just give them all 3 trolls already in the game available to them and maybe you could add in dismounted arnor knights.

    well angmar used them regularly as infantry because they did have a troll general lol
