Does this mod go into detail on every faction(I read FAQ but want to know how much it actually changes so that I don't use so much time on trying mods and then having to delete them when I find out that there either too hard like massive stacks of armys coming at me the first turn. Or too unrealistic(Vanilla). But does it go into detail for the Greeks? And what is the government thing?

    Yes, detail for every faction.

Relatively slow game play (medium/medium is perfect for slow role playing - and with Force Diplomacy mini-mod you can stop AI stupidity when it gets too much).

I strongly recommend EB, which is more an experience, rather than just a game.

There's nothing in this mod that lacks detail.

On M/M most of the smaller factions get time to build up, and since every year is 4 turns this is doubly true. Also a bunch of the factions start out hardly any more powerful than their "rebel" counterparts. In EB, more justice is done to at least show you what those other city states and smaller kingdoms really were, not random rebel places but historic rivals and ethnic groups fighting for their independence just as you are. The roleplaying, unit recruitment, and government system can seem overwhelming but this is a turn-based game, you have all the time to slow down and read everything. Between historic landmark buildings, a bigger map, unique unit rosters for everyone, a way more developed traits system (way more), and mostly interesting historical information, this is the definitive Rome Total War experience until EB 2 comes. Even RTR is a slight step below this. The game is still very hard, you have to adjust to the upkeep costs, the trait system can get tedious to micro-mange to stop your family members from getting bad traits when they are predisposed to them, and eventually, you WILL run into an enemy throwing stack after stack at you making you get bored and grind to a halt and start a new campaign, but this is what Rome Total War should have been.
"I don't understand, how can you shoot women and children?"

"Aw its easy, you just don't lead them as much!"

I installed it on a USB drive but am in Nebraska right now. So when I get back to Colorado I will play.
