RTR Problems

I downloaded RTR a few days ago, the main campaign does not work. When I click on the main campaign option in the single player menu a box pops up and says "please select an item from the list". I talked to someone and they said to download the latest patches of RTW and RTW:BI (1.5 + 1.6). I did this. My new problem is, it won't let me into RTW, RTR, or RTW:BI at all. when I try to this error comes up:

Error: Filename doesn't exist : data/animations/SG 01 idle 01.cas

Is there anybody who can help?

Exactly which of the many versions of RTR do you have.

Well, in that case I`m not sure what to do for you. As a guess I`d say that your game was indeed not patched and you`ve installed the regular/non modswitch version of RTRPE on it. And naturally got the regular issue. Upon hearing that you`ve patched the game over the mod(instead of uninstalling everything and reinstalling in order: game->patch->mod) which broke the setup and thus getting you into other issues.

RTR Gold is not compatible with RTW 1.5. I would recommend you download RTRPE mod switch version as it allows you to still play the original game because none of the game files get overwritten. Wile you're at it I would install the music addon which is a the bottom of the page. Just point towards your main RTRPE folder.
