Peleponnesus: Total War is recruiting
DEAD.
A mod for Rome, based around greece, persia is just beggining to pressurise the greeks, but there is still a lot of greeks around. It doesn't have to be completely historical, just fun. Don't be decieved by the name, it is set around the whole of greece and the western part of Asia minor, going as far south as crete
We need:
another concept designer, I think we're alright for researchers for now.
Mapmakers, I will supply a historical map with some of the main cities I want highlighted. It will be a similar map to Aristeia, but without all of the random little camps around troy, and with different cities (other than the obvious big ones). Two vacancies, subject to increase if it is too much work.
However many Modelers and skinners, within reason.
a few more scripters
a couple of animators and skeleton people (I want to mess around with the phalanx a bit, and make the archers and javelinmen look better when they fire missiles)
a description writer (aswell as me) and people who know their way around all of the text files.
PM me, and I will give you the appropriate info.
If you have experience working with greeks, even better.
If you can do something that I have left out, apply anyway, because this is only just starting
edit: I want to introduce a new feature that will completely change sieges, as well as making the walls look a lot better so I want somebody who can change town layouts and walls, as well as someone who is very adept at changing features on the campaign map.

Re: Peleponnesus: Total War is recruiting
I don't really know yet, but it needs to be as Persia is just beggining to expand onto the western coast of Asia minor, but there are still greco-eastern factions on that coast and in the islands around it at the start, if such a point existed. I know what factions it'll have, and have a good idea of the base units and I have a historical map which I have outlined some of the regions on.

Re: Peleponnesus: Total War is recruiting
I can do scripting, and also description editing, and perhaps some form of 2D art if need be, but not textures since I don't have that time at the moment, perhaps loading screens/menu art etc. Let me know. (:

Sensei Kisu, you'd be welcome on the mod. I sent you a PM with extra info as to what you can do.
Arkocento Prinos, It wont be that early probably, as there wont be any good units going around, but at some point where Persia is in the equation as well as eastern-influenced greeks in asia minor. It isn't concentrating on being a completely historical mod so it doesn't have to be in a specific timeframe. Are you interested in joining the mod?

Re: Peleponnesus: Total War is recruiting
Hi i'd happily carry out research for you, Ancient Greek history is the era i specilize in with Athens and the history of the Peloponnesian war being the subjects where i can probably contribute the most. I've also hepled write the faction previews for Hegmonia city states also i can do unit desciptions too should you need me to.

Re: Peleponnesus: Total War is recruiting
Of course! that will probably come a little later, though. Would that include skins?
If anybody wants to apply, do so, but don't expect to hear back before the 30th Aug. as that is when I get back from holiday.
OceanPhoenix.
edit: Back now.

Re: Peleponnesus: Total War is recruiting
Any unit modelers/skinners out there? Because if so, we can start making some progress (a lot of units need little research).
