How many times does this happen in your campaign? Mine happened occasionally in the Egyptian Campaign, which is too much for me (some of Royal Family members look promising).

They have no reason to die, and they just drop dead

It's probably some veneric disease.

Hi there.
Well, while never having encountered it on a large scale, I have some times had young familly members die. With out any explanation but "he died a natural dead". It is a random event, having them die, exept when killed in battle, disease or by age. But as I said, I too have lost young familly members aged 20-30 years with out any explanation or good reason.

Hi there.
I recall to have seen, sometime, some one mention that succesfull (of course) assasination is a valid explanation to the sudden death of young and healthy family members. I can not remember if it is called "suspecious death", but that way I have lost a few members my self. Actually, as a note only, that happens for the most part, on members that I have bribed to my cause.
