    Default Need advice

Haven't posted on here in forever, mostly because my computer sucks (i.e. 2005 1.73 Ghz Pentium 4, 33 GB hard-drive...you get the drift), so I haven't been able to play, without high levels of frustration, several of the games I have, much less anything newer. I am looking to buy a fairly decent laptop but am on a pretty tight budget. I prefer Intel and Nvidia. I don't play shooters on my computer, so it doesn't need to be super fast. I would, however, like to play the likes of Napoleon and Dawn of War 2 on fairly high settings (and be able to play newer games).
The stickied guides don't quite address my problem.

Absolute max of about $850. Anyone have any advice? I'd really appreciate it.
Note: I am only semi-computer literate. Otherwise I would know what to look for myself...

    alright

the bucks are now on the acer 4820tg, it has a good gpu a ati 5650 and a good processor an i5 430 for 800 a pop on amazon.

you can try the lenovo y460 and y560, they have the same specs and retail for the same price, but I would go for the acer, its lighter

for a comparable gpu from nvidia, you need to go for the gt335m, although the retail prices are higher.

If you are a student, you can go for the HP envy 14 it currently retails for 1099, but with a student discount of 10% it goes for 989, but the build construction is much better with a body of magnesium and aluminum.
