Oh definitely, these guys are incredibly talented. I think it's just that CGI movies don't tend to be very popular (and therefore, profitable) so I presume it's pretty difficult for them to get funding for it. Not to mention how difficult it must be to create such a feature length movie when even these 5-6 minute clips are a painstaking task.

I think I'd like to see them animate a movie, but not write it by themselves or anything. Unless, of course, they're going for the 300 "bad plot but awesome battle movie" thing.

Eh, making a 5-10 minute trailer with preexisting locations, characters, ideas, etc, isn't quite the same as creating a full length movie from scratch. They've got some talent no doubt there, but they have to do a hell of a lot more then some short battle scenes.
Well, yeah. It's not like we want Blur to write a story, there's writers for that.
