Anyone else hope Blur Studios makes a movie?

Some of you may know about Blur studios, others may not know their name but only their work. I hope to see a full length movie from them at some point though.

They certainly have talent in depicting battle scenes.

And another argument for them having to make a feature length movie.

Oh definitely, these guys are incredibly talented. I think it's just that CGI movies don't tend to be very popular (and therefore, profitable) so I presume it's pretty difficult for them to get funding for it. Not to mention how difficult it must be to create such a feature length movie when even these 5-6 minute clips are a painstaking task.

Well the thing about CGI is the most expensive and difficult part is creating the models. Once they have been created, the animation isn't terribly hard or expensive. They already have the models created whether they make a 3 minute trailer or a 100 minute movie.

I think I'd like to see them animate a movie, but not write it by themselves or anything. Unless, of course, they're going for the 300 "bad plot but awesome battle movie" thing.

They would be a sort of badass pixar, if you will.

Eh, making a 5-10 minute trailer with preexisting locations, characters, ideas, etc, isn't quite the same as creating a full length movie from scratch. They've got some talent no doubt there, but they have to do a hell of a lot more then some short battle scenes.

Well, yeah. It's not like we want Blur to write a story, there's writers for that.
