hi all how do i increase the over all size of a map... i know how to create landmass but (using the vanilla rtw map) how would for example extend the map to iceland ??

You need to change the size of all map files and change the relevant values in descr_terrain. See here for list of files and relative sizes: http://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showth...w-campaign-map.

After you have resized your map (which usually means adding a bit of land/water on the existing one) you just add new landmass (ie Iceland) on the newly created space, etc.
