okay, well, this is my 3rd campaign as britain, campaign difficulty is VH and battle difficulty is H, its April 1918 and only 3 nations remain after a multitude of backstabing, in wich the 3 remaining countrys are extremly hostile and continously change sides, usually ganging up on the greater of the 2 other powers (normally me and italy against russia, however i used the alliance to make a land grab)

Although a small country, italy apears to be surprisingly strong and at its height had actleast 12 artillery heavy full stacks, however after the battle of Wurtemburg the majority of italian military might was crushed. now italy is struggling to hold onto what little land it has left, as the unrelenting army's of britain and russia pilage its lands.

However the fragile alliance created between britain and russia in order to effectivly eliminate italy from the playing feild is breaking down, without a major threat to bond the two factions together, armys are gearing up on both sides all along the eastern frontier, with vast armies staring eachother in the face, their armies seperated only by a few thousand yards of marsh and dense forest

Well Mitch can sticky this if he wants. Like I said I really like these threads, but there is a lot in the stickies already and hopefully this will be popular enough by itself (they usually are anyways).

These threads are always cool. Unfortunately I only played a bit (like 1 year) with Germany in campaign, and then i had to reinstall Windows (some bugs of some sort...). I'll post my empire after I rebuild it

It would be nice to see if someone could post their total campaign casualties after achieving victory over their enemies.

I think it's possible - at least in TGW - to lose about a million men in... Two years?

Every battle you usually have at least 4,000 casualties. So in a year you could have a million men lost.

Do you normaly have 4 battles where you lose 4000 men each turn ????

With the new SMGs and Machine Gun Corps it is automatic win if you have them in your army.

Use them in your army and you will win every battle.

I'm having a rough time dealing with the entire Entente at the moment - France declared war early, followed by Britain, Russia and Portugal. Although the French onslaught has been stopped in the north, their largely destroyer-based navy is raiding my trade nodes while Portugal is launching an assault from the west. It's tough, especially since the Entente is keeping together, and Belgium has already proven to be too much for Germany, while Austria is capturing Russian territories.
