Alkimacho, exo kati na se rotiso, ( I have something to ask you), if I want (just for fun) to download this mod in Latin (one of my favorite languages!) or Modern Greek ,(playing this game on Greek would be a great way to keep learning the language) What/how do I do so?

I'm very sorry guys, a serious storm appeared at Monday and my motherboard in my PC, on which I had RS II files for translation, got fried and my internet stopped working on my old PC. I finally got these files today and next week, probably at Monday again, I will get new internet. Again, I'm sorry for that, I wasn't able to translate anything this week. I will try to do something tomorrow.

    German Translation Status: 80%

We translated almost everything except a few objects......
So we are testing now if everything works fine. We also have to do some small things, like modify the main data for the submodfolders and correcting mistakes we made.

BTW what I have seen of the mod is really insane (in a positive way )

EDIT: I forgot to say, that we are not translating the detailed unit and building descriptions (just the names), because that would be too much work.

    Ahahah! Are you joking right?

I consider unit + building descriptions = 80% of the translation work...

    It means:

    Italian translation 20% = German translation 100%

However I think it's a good idea translate just the building and unit names for the beginning, but then everything should be translated imho.

Unfortunately this month I'm too busy because of my work and the university, so I don't know if I'll have time to go on. And for now no Italian is helping me...

There's much more to do than only translating the building and unit descriptions: adapt every text file, translating the VnVs and Ancillaries, tweaking files for the subfolders, testing, .....

And if you translate the building and unit descriptions, you have to do this for about 1370 sites (copied into word). So we decided not to translate these things for the first version. But later on we will do that.

This status of the translation is for the first version of it.

Hey! What is this? The Czeh and German has overpassed us for 10%! We where ahead of them!
Great job and all that. I am waiting to see how RS2 will be in Greek. It must be great for people to be able to play such a great mod in their native languages.

Looks nice! I can understand the letters of the Greek alphabet, but I have no idea what the words mean

Also, Mattius, are you doing a Latin translation? Man, that is awesome. I'll be sure to download that once you're done But how exactly are you doing this? Are you good at Latin in both reading AND writing? Most people that have had lessons in Latin only know how to translate Latin texts, but not how to write them Are you a professor or something? And could you post a little teaser like Alkimachos did?

I'm in my last year of uni doing Latin, but I haven't exactly been taught how to specifically write Latin, just kinda doing my best. I find translating RSII is great revision for my latin course (grammar, vocab etc) so i put it down as revision hrs So i'm sure some things are wrong, or at least awkward, but if anyone notices when its out then that can be changed

I'm not a beta tester so can't show it in an RSII context, but i guess it will be out soon.
    in vita mea
