Patching for multiplayer?

Hi new here and want to try out the muliplayer however i need patch 1.5.
I have manged to install 1.2 i can see it in the options menu but when i try installing 1.3 or 1.5 from this site it says its complete but acording to the version in the upper corner in the it hasent.
Any ideas why its not working?

Uinstall the game, run a registry cleaner to clean out the leftovers, reinstall the game, download a fresh patch and try to install it.

Thanks ill try that but one thing,
whats a registry cleaner? Iam a dud when it comes to these things.

All Windows programs put entries in its registry so Windows knows where they are, what programs they are linked to, etc.

Go to www.eusing.com, download their Eusing Free Registry Cleaner and install it. Run it, and delete/clean everything it finds.
