The Official Zombie Handbook UK

Morning All,

I've been part of our community for some time, mostly active on the Stainless Steel forum. Anyway, I am pleased to say that my first zombie book has just been published by Severed Press & is now available....

So, I wanted to come here first & announce it to my learned collegues & gamers....

If you have read the Max Brooks book, it's a slightly different take on that - equally relevant for anyone who lives in a built up area, obviously, here in the UK, we don't have guns & our police are armed with sticks.

I'm sick of all this zombie stuff now. It's oh so very played out and tedious.

I'm intrigued. I enjoyed the Zombie survival guide so this looks good too. It better have a section on how to decapitate zombies with medieval weaponry or else..

Indeed my friend, there is a section on weapons & the trusty halberb is included. However, I also include the nail gun which proved to be a mental weapon in tests - 6-inch nails at thousands of feet per second, causes an estimated 40,000 injuries world wide each year - how can it be wrong.

This looks very interesting. I am a fan of the original Zombie Survival guide by Max Brooks, and I say this looks very cool. Also, very nice work on the cover art

Looks like a british knockoff of "The Zombie Survival Guide"

I wouldn't say knock off - there is a lot of different content in there - my approach is not quite the same. Britain & many other countries have different circumstances to the US we do need a version. Our population density is much higher, we have virtually no access to firearms & we don't really have any 'wilderness' as such. I'm sure it's the same if you live one of the major cities in the states.

Everybody in the zombie survival community respects the Zombie Survival Guide - we all love it but it doesn't mean it answered all of the questions....

I'll be sure to check it out.

Well done by the way- must feel pretty good to have a published book out (Especially on one as something as cool as zombies).
