I think this should be merged with my old thread.

I guess I've been diagnosed as a Paganistic Christian Jew.

No, really. I'm serious here. I am Zorioastrian in that I believe that god must be divided upon himself in good and evil to explain how the world is, I am Agnostic in then I do not know which interpretation of God is true, I am Protestant in that I was raised Protestant and have Protestant sympathies, and I am a Jew by birth (lila tov!)

The question was "what religion are you?" but we know what you meant

I have no religion, I am an atheist so it would not make sense for me to be religious, would it?

The zoroastrian bit is very interesting, I'm off to do some reading.

I don't have a religeon, more a philosophy I don't presume to know what to believe theres to much I don't know. Its ambiguos but I like it.

I follow no religeon simply because religeon causes wars and other bad things. Look at Al quieda (wrong spelling?), everything they have done, they think that they are respecting and following their religeon.

That depends on the religion. It seems only the large monotheistic ones cause wars (Christianity, Islam ... and 3,000 years ago Judaism). Others, like Shintoism for instance, have caused no war I can think of.

OK, so no good has come from religion...

So there are nutjobs in the world, how does that devalue the countless works of art, science, literature, architecture etc. produced because of religion?

I really can't be placed into a category. If I really wanted to get picky I'd say I'm an agnostic humanist.

    After CCD went Methodist.

    Right now i'm agnostic.

    WW2 Japanese propoganda.

Anyways I can't think of anything Zoroastrans did that was negative in that regard. The are technically monotheistic, and were large.

Their are a lot of minor monotheistic religions as well, but they dont count in this as they never had the power to go to war in the name of god.
