A little Help

Ok...I just got RTW after buying and playing M2TW a couple months ago. Anyways my question is, what is the difference between the 3 roman factions if any? (aside from different starting settlements of course)

The Julii, Scipii, and Brutii all have different gladiators. You forgot about the SPQR, though, who have exactly the same army as the Julii.

ok..this may sound stupid but i am completely new to RTW and im a newb lol...so anyways on to my questions....what do you mean gladiators? and what are specific differences, if any at all, are there?

Edit: I am a huge history buff and i know what real gladiators are of course, i mean in game, just to clear anything up

Gladiators are some of the strongest units in the Roman roster in vanilla single player campaigns. They have excellent morale and stamina, almost like spartans but with less armor and numbers. Onlya vailable for Roan factions they are Samnite Gladiators for Julii, Velite Gladiators for Brutii and Mirmillo Gladiators for Scipii. Other differences in the Romanf actions you´ll encounter are the temples they can build, I dont know the names of them but I recall that Brutii ahve temples more devoted to war and trade, and Scipii get to build Neptune temples which allows them to build stronger ships than any other faction in game: The Corvus Quinquirreme and the mighty Deceres.
