    Default About Turkish Factions?

First, greeting to all and great team of DotS...

    Great mod only I say...

And a simple question: Could you release some pictures about Turkish factions? I really wonder them! Maybe you can give some information about Turks and Seljuks?

    Thanks...

We don't have very much in the way of pictures, the map not being finished yet and no units that we haven't already shown you in the unit previews that pertain to Turkics. I am sure in the not too distant future we will have a full preview on the Seljuqs and their associated Mongol and Middle Eastern comrades, they are my favourite faction i think, even more than Scotland. All i will tell you now is that playing as the Seljuqs is going to be extremely challenging. Your empire is large, and although you are reasonably rich you are also extremely decentralised, very vulnerable to the vultures circling overhead in the shapes of Rum, Syria and the Caucasus states. As has been said, by the time the Mongols reach you even a seasoned veteran will be fighting for his very survival. This is why we then have the options of two transitions, one being the Khwarezmids and one the Mongol Horde itself. Both will change the character of your empire more than any other transition in the game, and it is the only such transition where you get a choice between two. Rest assured both of these will come with advantages - khwarezmian heavy troops make mincemeat of ill-prepared westerners, and the mongols are a ravenous beast to be unleashed.
A new mobile phone tower went up in a town in the USA, and the local newspaper asked a number of people what they thought of it. Some said they noticed their cellphone reception was better. Some said they noticed the tower was affecting their health.

A local administrator was asked to comment. He nodded sagely, and said simply: "Wow. And think about how much more pronounced these effects will be once the tower is actually operational."

Sounds like a really good gameplay representation of the challenges faced by the Seljuqs historically. Whatsmore it sounds like this will prevent the AI Seljuqs from dominating all of their smaller neighbors and wiping out 3 or 4 factions in the firs 50 turns.
