A question

Well I just had to get rid of game spy (got rid of it because it gave my computer a virus; a really, really bad one). Can RTW still run without it?

When you install the game it actually asks you if you want to install gamespy. Just uncheck the box...

You should be able to run SP without gamespy, I don't have gamespy and I don't have any problems. You may want to reinstall however.

I've actually been running RTW without gamespy for 5 years , you will lose out on patches and online battles... I think

Patches aren't a problem, just manually install them if your version of Rome isn't up to date. You can still play online through Hamachi AFAIK

I never installed Gamespy
and i can play SP and MP perfectly.
