    Default Fleets and Naval Invasions

I was wondering how the transporting of armies with fleets in RS 2.0 will work. In RTW Vanilla a single small ship can carry a full stack army, but obviously this is not realistic.

Is it possible to make it so that each ship can only carry a limited number of troops? That would make it so both the player and the AI are unable to make large scale landings unless they first possess the number of ships necessary.

Also, are there transport ships as well as warships?

That was what I thought was the case. There is a way to change whether AI factions will attempt naval invasions though, isn't there?

There is and we have tried to make it so that the AI will do it far more often than before.
However you will need to run the game using the Alexander exe for the best resoult.

Bloody hell. The only one Best Buy had when I went to buy the expansions was BI.
I now have 3 copies of RTW, 1 BI, and none of the fabled Alexander Exp... :/

Amazon.co.uk has it in stock for £6.08 as CD-ROM version. Probably a bit more expensive than steam and depends on your own version of amazon as to whether they have it in stock, but you can get the cd if you look around.

isn't 15 euros worth more than 10 dollars? Like, almost 3 times more?

At most the double. I think we in Europe tend to have higher pricess than in the US most times anyway. Also I don't know how it is with taxes etc.

    15 euros= $19 roughly.

On steam RTW Gold + Alexander will cost about $20 or 15 euros. But RTW Complete is only $9.99 or about 8 euros.

You don't realize something, it isn't only one ship you train. Did you even notice the unit number on the cards for ships? It's a fleet you train, not just one ship. Otherwise CA wouldn't have allowed a full stack.

No, that's the amount of crew on the single ship. Otherwise why would Quinquiremes and such have more ships per card than Biremes?

this blew my mind, I always thought i had thousands of ships in my fleet, not a measly 18.

    I don't like it
