Firstly, Welcome to the forums TheMonkfish. It's always great to see new faces.

Secondly, did you make sure that:

    1) You have Kingdoms 1.5 installed

    and

    2) You are installing to the correct directory?

I have whatever patch comes in the gold edition.
And i installed to the directory it says in the donload link thread.
    Edit - I only have 1.4 so i'll get 1.5
on second thoughts, is 1.04 same as 1.4 or do I have to get all the patches?

    1) Make sure you know where your Medieval 2 directory is. It may be different than the average directory.

    2) Yes, 1.4 and 1.04 are the same thing. All you need is patch 1.5 (aka 1.05).

If you downloaded the seperated installation, then make sure all of the files are in the same folder.

Also, if a file is corrupted, the only way to fix it is to redownload it. It sucks, but it's the only thing that work AFAIK.

What could cause a file to become corrupted?
Just incase it is something I did.

    Do you mean which directory?

If so, I think that the Medieval 2 folder is in the "Creative Arts" folder rather than the "SEGA" folder.

no what I mean is do I need to have disk 1 or 2 in the drive to run this mod because disk 2 doesnt't seem to work.
It says insert the kingdoms cd.
