    Default Fire breathing Balrog, and Sauron

    This mini mod, makes the blarog, and Sauron in custom battles throw fire. The Balrog fires greek fire, while Sauron uses an invisiable mangonel shot, that creates explosions in the air raining fire on the enemies.

    Installation:
    Only compatible with verison 2.0.

    Replace the export_descr_unit.txt in C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Third_Age\data with the this one. Make sure you backup your files, just in case something goes wrong.

    BUGS: Several Saurons could cause crashes due to the rate of fire.

    Looks interesting. Aren't there any anymation bugs? Might try this once I've installed.

    This is how my mod started lol. I wanted to make rockthrowing ents but they don't have proper animations.

    Isn't possible to adapt the javelin throwing animation? It's pretty much how "regular" throwing is done though it'd need to be sped up a bit to eliminate that long pause before "javelins" are thrown.

    ents are elephants. elephants can't have ranged missile animations, the rocks are throwed by the invisible units on their backs

    This is the main problem with the animations, and it is also why they tend to just stop killing.

    I'm going to try to delay the fire time for Sauron cause he goes berserk with the fire, also maybe remove the stupid cannon effect and sound.

    Abslolutely awsome. tried it the sauron model is the best but some times i bit extreme with the damage. The balrog is also nice but to bad the flames cant come out of it's mouth + repya

    He is talking modding not lore. Ents in the game are classified as Elephants and therefore cannot have a ranged attack.

    But can't you use Ent model for infantry unit (as trolls are) and then apply that javelin trowing animation?

    Only problem with this is that when it's a general unit you get the stupid captain fighting on the side with Ent power.

    And if you did this with Sauron or The Balrog, you get like 15 of them on Huge Scale which is tremondously overpowered.

    I thought that to apply the animation for an ent sized creature you need to edit the animation itself, and we have no way of doing that.

    there are always Knight's animation utilities, but i never took the time to even download them, let alone learn how to work with them

    This compatiable with 2.1 as me balrog just got pawned by dwarfs armour percing units and ballista also think the sauron magnels would create cool effect for last alliance battle.
