    Default Angmar-fication (and some more) for TATW 2.0.

    Oh, hi there!

    I saw that a lot of players wanted the new Orcs of Gundabad - faction to be called something in the lines of "Angmar", As "Gundabad" sounds a little "weak" for a successor state of one of the most terrifying realms of the third age. So, what I have done is edited some bits of text, just to have "Orcs of Gundabad" spell "Angmar" instead Just plain "Angmar", no shadow or remnant involved

    Oh, and some credit goes to [user=Ayleid], for sparking the idea (he did the Arnor-fication for Eriador, which is included here, for better or worse)

    Just smack these two files into C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Third_Age\data\text
    and replace
    and you should be good to go

    i think u should set missions for gundabad so that they can turn into Angmar, just like eriador and arnor.

    Indeed it would. I am no modder, I just discovered how to change a faction name

    I started with some minor text modifications myself, then did bigger text modifications and then I turned to 2d art.

    Don't think I will start modelling however.

    Well at first I didn't know how to do 2d art either, you have to read a few tutorials and then just get experienced. You could also try to find you a mentor who teaches you things.

    Could someone tell me how to change the hillmen models to black numenoreans? I think I already did most of the work myself cause the hillmen have 2h sword animations in battle and they use the Black Numenorian (or is it Numenorean?) model in battle, but they have no textures.
