    Default How to speed up Res Bellicae if you have slow Computers ;)

    Hope it helps ^^
    i'm not happy to see fans with lag

    1) go to data\terrain and replace "aerial_map" with the "aerial_map_low" folder and the "battlefield" folder with "low res battlefield" folder
    just rename the folders and backup the originals

    2)go to data/descr_climates.txt
    make a backup.open it.delete everything in and replace it all with this code

    Sounds good, I could use this! But where are the two folders you mentioned? I found ariel map and battlefields,where do I find the 2 folders to replace them with?

    Hey Guys, speaking of lag I don't know if you guys can help me I got the SPARTA total war mod downloaded and it's lagging alot any suggestions?

    Hey man, I was wondering if you can make a patch to download these files rather than us going in there and manualy changing things around, that would be great

    Hey guys I just wanted to compliment the Res Bellicae team for such an outstanding mod, great units for all factions, it's a great mod I just downloaded it, and played some costom battles just to a feel for the battles, but it's laging alot a little slow, so I tried the tips given above, when I go to Data/terrain to replace as instructed above, there are 5 files in the terrain file: ((world_map)), ((aerial_map)), ((aerial_map_low)), ((battlefield)), and ((low res battlefield)), I don't understand when you say replace "aerial_map" with the "aerial_map_low" folder and the "battlefield" folder with "low res battlefield" folder, with me I see they are already there, what do you mean by replace, you mean delete both files "aerial_map" and "battlefield", please explain.
    Note: when I usualy play other mods and big battles I get no lag at all, I usualy play with like 8000 and change infantry total me and the enemy, so it's propably something in this mod that is running slow.
    and on another note I have windows 7, please help

    you have to rename the folders
    so that
    aerial_map_low become aerial_map
    you will have to remove the old aerial_map folder in order to be able to rename it
