Is SPQR steam compatible?

I WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME SO BAD OH MY GOSHOHR(*Y@(#*y79y!
This mod is brilliantly done especially the 4tpy thats why im moving to spqr. I came from Roma Surrectum but i just cant deal with 2tpy.
But my question is. CAN SOMEONE pls let me know how to install this in my steam RTW GOLD with BI?
Is it the same as a regular cd rtw installation? like i just extract SPQR in my RTW folder but not inside the data folder?

I play this mod with the Steam version of RTW Gold. Just make sure the steam installation is fresh (ie. no other mods installed / uninstalled). You may delete the BI folder if you wish to save hard drive space.

Just install SPQR 7.0 and then the unit addon, map addon (if you desire) into the default Steam RTW Gold folder. Just like the instructions state for a normal non-Steam installation.

No special shortcut is needed to load SPQR as you can just click play now from Steam games view.

Make sure you activate the script for the 4-tpy feature. Good luck!

what is the 4-tpy feature?

4tpy means 4 Turns Per Year.
When you are ingame on the campaign map, press escape, then the question mark, help button. Then press the "show me how" button and it is activated. You now have 4 turns instead of 2 turns per year, and also there is a garrison script simulating the towns mustering their citizens to defend them, so no easy conquests of empty cities anymore. The garrison spawned are mostly just militia, skirmishers and missile infantry so not really an overkill.
