Well Poland Starts Basicly surrounded by rebels but Hugary start next to the imperials (holy roman empire) and the bizamtium empire, but that is good for a strong alience or an easy back stab by them.
What do u think?

I prefer Poland, because I don't like pink and the Polish roster is constantly under-appreciated. They have VERY early access to mounted archers (Strezcly), much earlier than any other catholic nation, and they have strong javelin cavalry (Polish nobles). Because of this, any field battle should be a cake-walk. There's no reason you should lose in an open battlefield. Infantry is Poland's weak point, however, as you don't get high quality troops until you have stone castles or fortresses. You have to make do with spear militia, which can be a pain.
I haven't played enough with Hungary to say anything about them, but I'd recommend Poland.

both have weak infantry, but I think poland is better. Hungry is cheaper thoguh, and a good early roster, thats how they usaully do well early in the game yet are always wiped out.

Poland is better i think. It has a better roster of missile cavalry, cavalry in general and spears (i think) and has quicker access to alot more barbarian settlements then the Hungarians.
I love Hungary, they have some of the coolest looking units in the game and they are they only Christian faction to use real horse archers on a large and practical scale. I will say I hate the transavan peasnt, they give him this bad ass weapon, bad ass info card, then they give him a 5 attack and a 1 deffense and the only way you can get him is if you build a large tavern. But the battle feild assasin and Croat Axemen make up for it.
Personaly I really don't like Poland, they clam to have good calvary but all of their early calvary through javalines instead of useing bows like every one else in the east. And even their heavy calvary isn't that much better than the Knights Templar. Then there is the infantry, it stinks. They have horrible infantry that is nearly useless.
A true politition should always be willing to die if he fails his country. For no other group of people can cause so much damage or do so much good.
Poland > hungary all the way.
they're both empire fodder
I think hungary is better, not much but still better, they have excellent horse archers (hungarian nobles) and their cheaper and weaker form (magyar cavalry),their infantry isn't very good but still better than poland's inf.
Javelins are superior to archers (on horses of course). Greater damage and accuracy and Armour piercing. The range issue is overcome by the speed of the horses.
i don't think so,they have more damage and accuracy ,but what are you going to do when you run out of javelins, run after the horse archers?your going to get tourself killed that way(i think) in my oppinion horse archers are better, not much though,i would use horse archers more against other horse archers or archers and javelins agains slow moving (heavy)infantry

I prefer Poland. Advantages of Poland are excellent javelin cavalry which are as tough as mailed knights in melee, not being salmon pink, and also you've got non-Pope bothering starting position, i.e. rebels he doesn't mind you having a fight with. Also, you've got pretty much free reign to fight with Russia. Granted, the Hungarians have Byzantium for this, but I find I'm already at war with Venice so end up in an alliance of convenience with the Byzantines anyhow, or worse, war on two fronts. Also, the Poles get Lithuanian archers, not especially good, but those stakes are handy in defense. More than offsets the not-so-great statline they have. Also, when you (finally) get Polish Guard, you've got a cavalry unit that really is the buisness. You'll rarely come across their equal in the saddle in western Europe, and I find that the only eastern powers I seem to find with their "heaviest" cavalry are the Mongols and Timurids anyhow.
