Start Script error ):

Firstly i Installed it, then it couldnt start, Now i re-installed EB, and it Starts, but after a few seconds, in Shows an Error, and gives an CTD.
It looks like this:

Im Using Windows7, And the Retail (Non-steam/CD) Version.

Did you install any sub-mods?
Don't install RTW+EB into Program Files, this can cause troubles, try the installation once more, with UAC off and install it to a safe location.
If it comes to the same results, your installer has to be corrupted, please re-download using torrent.

PS:UAC Sucks, so it has been off since i Installed windows a couple of years ago

Well, If i just Simply "move" The "The Creative Assembly" Map Out of "Program Files" and just on my Hard-drive, Will it Work Fine? (Without Problems with the Registry)

I am not an EB tech expert, but that should be fine. At least, it works great with XP.

It will work, however you may have left-overs in the registry once you de-install the program.
Try it with a new installation of EB, if it does not work, first re-download the installer files, possibly they are corrupted. If you then have problems, post here again, I'm sure we can sort that out!

Ive just Downloaded 1.1 installer again, And re-installed RTW on C:The Creative Assembly/Rome Total War

Cant seem to Work, The Clean RTW Wont Start outside Program files.

This is very odd. RTW worked in the old location? Try to add -nm in the target line of your RTW shortcut.

Perhaps because all your short cuts to RTW are still targetting the old location?

Nah, i Tottally Un installed it, and Installed it again on the C:, outside PRogram Files.

If even RTW won't work, then EB will neither. Are there any protection processes running in the background? RTW should normally load without problems on Win7, but you can try it with admin-rights and/or compatibility-mode

Rome works Outside the Program Files Now.

Now im gonna see if EB does work outside Program Files. :|

EDIT: It works Fine now

Just having Random skips to 14 AD.

Did you also apply the 1.2 fixes? If they are random, I'll cross my fingers for you that they stay random!

Yup, i got 1.2.
But it doesn't Really matter much, Since you can still continue on after 14 A.D.

PS:Easy getting money shortages on this mod, lol

For the skips to 14AD: Do they happen at random, of only when you load campaigns when you are already playing a campaign.

(Also, don't load/start campaigns from different factions without quitting RTW and restarting - the script can only handle one faction per session.)

And read the FAQ as XSamatan says.
