"In stone halls they burn their great fires,
in stone halls they forge their sharp spears.
Whilst I walk alone in the mountains,
with no true companion but tears.
They hunt me with dogs in the daylight,
they hunt me with torches by night."

Update One
Setting the stage for war.
So, let us begin this AAR. My first action was to organize my scattered armies, all of which are well equipped and sizeable, but are positioned in weird places. I sent my King (King Charles, that is) to Oxford, my current capital, along with some of his elite Guard units. The army to the West would soon betray me, and I lose all those good men. An army of cavarly and dragoons establish an small fort blocking the access to the river.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Next I sent the largest army in North to move southwards, to counter the enemy presence in the area. They have positioned themselves on the riverside, and have an army about the same size as mine.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
My 4 southernmost citys are in a dangerous place, and I begin to recruit more men to defend them. In case of attack, Im not intending to win the battle, but kill as many men as possible. And possible, if I KNOW that Im going to lose the battle, I will destroy all buildings prior to enemy assault.

Meanwhile, in West, I send the army close to Plymouth, ready to conquer it once the war begins. The enemy garrison is weak here, and should not be a problem.

Meanwhile, another one of my armys move towards Warmick, a heavily fortified castle, in order to take it. Defense is expected to be brutally effective, and men will be lost even though the enemy garrison is small.

I sent one my my Princes towards Wales to take the Parliament stronghold there, and on the way they spot an huge army of rebels, with their intentions uknown. Even so, the garrisons of Worcester and Hereford are increased.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
And amongst these, I also ordered all citys/castles to be automanaged, and all of them will be on Financial policy. People may go a bit RABBLERABBLERABBLE about it, but I couldnt care less
I also received an order at the second turn in game to take the only rebel settlement in the map. Wasnt very hard. For reward, I receive 4 Carrack ships (Im not sure, but I think Oxford doesnt have a port D: ) to my capital. The village itself makes very little money, people are grumpy, population is decreasing, I cant build/recruit anything...
Theyre clearly Scots.

Now, Im not sure, but I MAY have effed the battle. My intentions were to save the replay, but I did not. Ill have to check if the autosave is before that battle. But anyway, that stuff will be in the next update!
Hope you enjoyed!
On a small sidenote, I made an entry to the Screenshot of the Month thing, its taken from this mod, please do go and vote for me once that time comes![]()
Do you think you can focus on one character, and prehaps bring less pictures, that are really not nessary. Just a little feedback, looking decent so far.
Give a man a fish you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish you feed him for a lifetime.

I dont think I want to focus entirely on one character, but perhaps I can focus only on one dude per update.
Oh, and I didnt find a battle replay, and Im too lazy to replay it. Update coming today, hopefully![]()
Long? WickedThanks. Starting to play now.
