you can add up by modifying the file "descr charater.txt"

starting_action_points 30

to

starting_action_points 120

this one was to fix the gameplay(less all around faction attack XD)
but if you don't like it it' ok

Characters can die from their age before come along Italy....
I played several turns, built first level roads in all Italy and the road from Rome to Capua was not included.

Yeah I know, I type E-mail address, then I am sent a link, clicked on it, new window opens, download! Then a message, file unavailable try again later!

I am getting the same problem when I try to download the patch.

Edit - Alright when you click the link you get in the e-mail right click the download button and then click save link as and after that click save and then it should work.

The new link doesn't work btw; It has the total war center address before it so it comes up 404 not found.

The links work when I run part one installer it says need other volumes ? which I have but it carnt find them, its frustrating to say the least

Ok I am in business, I don't know how though, because part 4 wasn't installed ! Anyhow all seem excellent I am glad I kept being a pain to get it I think I am going to do Alexander campaign first
EDIT: Have been playing a couple of different campaigns just to get a feel ! I like it allot, just a problem script doesn't seem to activate, when advisor appears theres no 'show me'
