Hello Gaio i love almost all in your mod but don't understand your turns system. When they are longer than half year it is like all world going too slow: city populations grow up slower, buildings continue slower (10 turns building started in 220 bc finished in 212? Shouldn't be 3 years earlier?), sieges last too long and all armies and characters are going too slow for so long turn... It is not natural, not realistic. Tell me please how to change all turns to equal period and not loose other elements from script.
Of course I'm crazy, but that doesn't mean I'm wrong. I'm mad but not ill.

the time passing is balanced to speed up historicall "dead times" in which nothing happen and slow down in periods where there were lots of events(speeding up reforms too).Anyway just use a year script generator and replace the last part of the script and it will work all normally

I can agree with dead times but it would be ok if during longer turns the movement were improved and building times and siege times were calculating in years (seasons) not in turns. Dead times are the best time for improving economy and its not good that during one year turn long i earn ony half money i would earn during two turns half years long . And I cant find year script generator...

Seems to be a nice mod, but I have to say:

THE DOWNLOAD-SERVICE IS AN ABSOLUTE INSULT!

Really! Having downloaded the first two parts, I discovered, that the third part doesn't work, don't know, why it couldn't be uploaded as the same page as the other parts. And the link you get per mail to download all in one, doesn't work too.
Besides, how could you think, anyone would like to install another programm on pc, just because you can't devide a installer into four parts proberly?

What a shame! I really did enjoy the beta - version, as do i the idea of beginning with Rome from a small town to form an empire such as this mod allows brilliantly.

Mind your tone, release your own mod and you can see how easy these things aren't.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming.

I downloaded all four parts on Sunday and installed them and didn't have any problems. Perhaps it was because the third part was on Megaupload that you had problems Danny087.

The amount of files when you amalgamate them together is huge though and wonder whether files are being updated and replaced as you install the successive parts of Res Bellicae.

Haven't had the chance to get into a campaign yet but I like the hoplite formations and their animation. The changed environment for the hill scenes is great but I am finding the grass a little too green and the landscape a little too bare of trees in the Italy campaign I'm playing. Other than that great, looking forward to playing some more.
