A quick question, which have you found is a better version of RTW to play the mod on?

Alexander, BI, or regular RTW?

The mod runs on all versions. I suggest you tu use Alexander since it seems the AI works better in battle..

I got everything installed alright but when I click on the play Res Bellicae on Alexander link, it takes me to the splash screen showing the mosaic-style map, but then crashes to the desktop.

I'd love to know what I'm doing wrong cause the anticipation is killing me!

I started a alexander campaign as macedon but the game crashes after a couple of turns

have you tried again and installed the latest patch 1.1 ? maybe it's a already discovered bug ^^
anyway toon is right varyag but i also suggest to reinstall the patch 1.1 (patch 1.1 is constantly updated with fixes of bug discovered )

i really cannot understand how merging the chunks once downloaded...Can someone explain? once downloaded the chunks they are 0 kb size...which file i have to select as a destination?

i downloaded the 4 version megaupload links posted by turkeys..now i'm gonna try to redownload one to see if something went wrong the first time...

e filefront è ancora inutilizzabile! è un vero peccato!!

Edit: forse qualcosa è andata storta la prima volta...ora ho riscaricato la quarta parte e mi da una grandezza esatta del file...la prima volta tutti e quattro i file erano di zero kb!! WTF!

just a quick question, what file would i overwrite when using the file splitter? would i overwrite one of the chunks? or would i have to overwrite a .exe file in order to run it properly? a quick response would be much appreciated as im extremely anxious to play this mod!!! been looking forward to it for months!!!

do this ^^
dowload all the 2 parts and filesplitter
put all files in a dir created for this purpouse. Call it RB and put it on the desktop,then put in all the files downloaded(must be in same dir)
now open filesplitter.
select join tab on filesplitter
select one of the two files downloaded as "source chunk" and selecte the RB dir as destination.Now click join and wait until finished

go to RB folder and execute Res_Installer.exe

apply the pTCH 1.1

DONE!!! ^^

Alright I figured out the problem. Don't use Filesplitter to join the files, instead remove chunk from both the part names and then it should allow you to manually extract the data using 7-Zip for example.

you have probably messed up someting during installation :S
i suggest you to repeat the entire process.. :S
