help me with steam!

hi i really need help from someone kind enough to step by step guide me on how to install RS to my steam RTW with bi and alexander. i messed up my installation.
And do i still need to download the 1.3 , 1.5, 1.6 patch even if i have bi already?

Just follow the instruction, to run the game launch RTW as per normal, if you want to use the BI exe you'll need to alter the launch options.

[Centaurion]

1) Download and install RTW, BI and ALEX as normal from Steam.

2) Download RS.

3) Install RS to your RTW directory. It should be something like this: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\rome total war gold
(if you want to play using the alex.exe, install to: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\rome total war alexander)

4) Go into your games library in Steam, right click on RTW --> properties -->set launch options and copy and paste RomeTW-BI.exe -mod: -nm -show_err if you want to run RS with the BI.exe
(if you want to play using the alex.exe, right click on ALEX --> properties -->set launch options and copy and paste -mod: -nm -show_err -noalexander)

5) Success!!

What!? I've installed it into the alex directory and it works perfectly.

Rome Total War: Alexander.
NOTE: With Steam you must have RTW:Gold to buy Alexander
Now with Alexander its bit different. If you want to use RS with Alexander completely Ignore the Above Post. Steam sees it as a Standalone so its in a separate folder than Rome Total War: Gold.

thanks guys! youre awesome! it worked. i both have RS 1.6 for my bi and aristea mod for my alexander folder lol. But is the sound really like this for RS 1.6? or is it just me? i only hear the plain vanilla music and voice overs. And is there a way to have a 4tpy or 6tpy for RS? coz im only getting 2tpy (

I just found out that theres really no more than 2tpy for this 1.6 RS. Its still bad ass though. Thank you Thank you for this great MOD that ur making for us RS team. you guys are awesome
