    Icon3 Trying the impossible

I love to edit my EU3,I m pretty good at it for now So the next step I want to go for is the graphic culture type. What I want to do is mix the African culture with the Muslim...That would be like the African city + the Muslim soldier (the guys you move on the map) ...is this possible?

Depends what do you mean. It is possible to uses use African culture but Muslim military tech tree, like Ottoman in vanilla. I suggest look at Ottoman settings as reference.

I think he means if he zoomed in on a city, it'd look like an African city, but if he zoomed on a unit, it would look like a Muslim unit.
I thought about writing something clever, but then I remembered I'm not clever enough.

One would assume so. First you'd need to establish what causes city sprites and unit sprites. I think it is culture.

eg. English culture spawns European sprites

Therefore, you just need to pick the culture you're interested in and change the sprites in the files.

Edit: I just checked, it does seem to be culture. Spanish cities in North Africa are European sprites. Though it seems to be national culture, as the culture of the provinces is still the N.African culture. So whatever nation you want to play just ensure their national culture is the one you edit.

But Ottoman culture is Eastern Europe, yet it has Muslim sprites.

I believe the Ottoman Empire is in the Turko-Semitic group in vanilla EU3, which includes Arabs, Berbers, and Turks - a middle-eastern/African culture group, and overwhelmingly Muslim. That's why it has Muslim sprites.

No, Ottoman's cultural group is Eastern European, and it follows Eastern European military tech tree.
