Mod for permanent land damage

I mean damage from artillery such as craters is there a way to keep them permanently rather than disappearing after a time

I think these must way be to edit game scripts for that, anyway disappearing over time is for sake of performance and overall virtual looking

No, its not possible they are canceled because your pc cant handle them anymore plain and simple. The only solution is a better pc.
