Can't play game

Need some help guys, a while back I uninstalled the game and now when I install it and try to play it doesn't start. It says it can't find DirectX9 which the game needs to function. Anyone got any idea?

Uninstall - delete RTW folder manual and reinstall.

I have two RTW games, the basic one and another that came with Barbarian Invasion. I have tried both and none seems to work. I normally go to control panel and go to "uninstall program", is that what you're talking about? or going to the actual file.

I dont know whats up with this thing. I tried installing the game yesterday but it froze at around 14%, I had to do a hard reboot, once on I looked around for any installed files but didn't find any, tried installing and now when the initial window opens up I dont get the "Install" option, only "play RTW", but it never installed. This thing is driving me crazy Im about to throw these games away!! HELP!!
