    Default End of Days?

Hi, I have a Question about some Event called "End of Days" or something. Stupid me, I clicked it away too fast and didn't read it

    The year is 1254.

After clicking away, I realized that the HRE was reconciled and ended war with almost all factions, with whom it was engaged in a war actually. I play as Teutonic Order and I also realized that the last years went very bad for me, terrible to be honest. I had just wiped out Lithuania and had nice relations and alliances with almost all neighbors, even the Mongols. Then came the plague, recession, and in a few turns everybody turned against me It's really a fight for survival.

Now I'm striking back with fast campaigns (I merely have one whole stack to go into offensive, with 4 or 5 cities I have to heroically defend against Germans, Danes, Poles, Ukrainians and Mongols (Novgorod down to one province).

I also somehow got a very bad reputation, even before hostilities brake out, why? (I was allied with England and Venice and another 5 or 6 powers, because they asked me, then I had to break two alliances because they had struggle between each other...)

Or was all this bad luck connected to some script and I can hope that the enemies are more friendly now and start to negotiate again? Has it something to do with "End of days"? Please say so!

    Yes

When those events happen you have to fight to survive. I think they happen every 100 years or so.

BTW I think similar things happen to your relations with others if you cause a civil war through bad leadership.

Well I didn't encounter trouble with civil war, only once I can remember I got the civil war trait for my leader, but that was long ago (maybe even another campaign). No I have no problems with my nobles, I get into the reds almost every turn though (when the mentainace costs are deducted), but with the beginning of the new turn I have 10,000 or so plus again, don't know if this has any effect...

I don't quite understand how these events relate to the "End of days"-message? Does it display when some bad events (plague, financial stall, many wars, bad rep ...) come together, or does some script eventually trigger them so that the game gets harder?

I put a stroke on Poland btw, hope to turn the tide now and plan to crush Poland Kiev in the next years You juast have to be bold and go after their cities and fight many battles... really hope to manage this campaign bc I put much effort in it (first time I'm playing vh with all features on except "total war"), esp. the financial side is pretty tough...

Great MOD, thanks to Taiji and the whole team

Glad you're playing and enjoying DLV with all the features enabled

When you're done with that campaign, if you aren't already using it, I recommend you try a main campaign on BB.

It's a giant leap from 6.2, or 6.3, and in too many areas to mention.
