not sure if there is one (i went through the 10 most recent pages and didnt find anything although its 5 am and its possible i missed it) so i decided to make one
this is my current greek campaign, i just got the ptolemies to agree to a ceasefire and the seleucids to agree to an alliance wich will hopefully protect greece while i attack those smelly barbarians in the west.
i have been allied to the illerians since the beginning of the game(i needed someone to keep macedonia occupied while pyrrhus took italy
i also have an alliance with carthage although i will have to destroy them to secure my western cities

Dude nice!! The farthest I ever got with my campaign on RTR was with Macedon. I crushed the greeks off of their homeland and went to war with Thrace after they sent a spy after me and we were allies! They were crushed, and Illyria attacked me. Nowhere near as good as yours man, keep it up.

I'm playing as the Independent Cities in Fate Of Empires right now. My empire consists of most of the West Iberian Coast, has all the cities in Gaul (Transalpine). Been holding out against the Carthaginians for most of it in Saguntum and thats left me with some very well experienced elite scutarii, and just took Numantia and Illerda. I'm also very rich with 650,000 denarii, down from 900,000 after a spending spree on buildings/recruiting an army.

Re the screens, try adding "-ne" to the shortcut switches. That solved the issue for me

I considered using the -ne switch, but I'm using the launcher and couldn't be bothered creating a shortcut

You can simply add it in the bottom right corner of the launcher and then press the save button next to it. No need for a shortcut at all

i have a bunch o'enemies: carthaginians, romans, illyrians (traitors) and thracians, i'm paying a heavy money in upkeep to maintain my war against Rome... happily they have only one FM alive which means soon the faction will die becoz of lack of FMs (assassins working perfectly)

I see that many people are playing Greece, although except the first encounter with Mecedon is a big obstacle, you will have to face Rome, Carthage and most likely Illyrians, they'll always betray you anyway. Or you might want to choose to expand east, escaping your forces from Italy and rather attack Macedon with an uneasy cease fire with Rome and Carthage, who will leave you alone... for a while, however.
But it is most important that you directly are involved with the assault on The Seleucid Empire. These are the steps that will lead to your end when facing other enemies than the Seleucids.

This is 90% of the cases what will happen if you leave Seleucids unchecked:

-Seleucid empire starts, loses some territorium, mostly at Parthia and Bactria,
and eventually comes up to an ceasefire.

-Seleucids and the Ptolemiac empire are switching territoriums in the meanwhile,
whereby Ptolemiac slowly gains a foothold at it's north-eastern border.

-Pontus is capturing rebel regions together with Armenia,
but Pontus on the other hand is oftenly fighting with The Seleucids, but in the end,
a losing battle.

-Here Parthia, after capturing 4 regions, and Bactria, also with 4,
and expanding with the rebel most eastern parts, but not really much,
end with a cease fire.

-Seleucids, losing enemies, concentrates their armies at Pontus and his nemesis, Ptolemiac.

-Seleucids are capturing, with ease, Pontus's terrotoriums.
Armenia doesn't stand a chance either, and the Ptolemiac loses his northern part in asian minor.
Rhodes, however, will always remain untouched except port blockades, even when there is nothing else to capture.
Just like Crete, whoever owns it.

-Seleucids are now on a rampage, capturing Parthia, Bactria and the remains of Armenia.
After they're done with them, what they will, they will go towards Macedon, and sometimes Greek Cities.
And so they are going through the world, unless you got a steady empire with Rome or Carthage,
you will not stand up much towards such a monster,
and you'd be lucky if you'd escape to Britannia, escaping faith for a while, however.

hey, don't be so pessimist... the only thing you need is 5 - 6 full stacks landing in Asia Minor and rampaging though it... after i've done that i stop playing, becoz i havr't much time to play anyway...
