Help kindly.

So I downloaded the warhammer file 1.01 I believe, but when I try to initialize it it says kingdoms.exe cannot be located.

Any answers?

Firstly, welcome to the forums Faeronsword! It's always nice to see new faces.

Secondly, are you running the mod through the warhammer.bat file found in the mod folder? If not, do that. Also, make sure you have kingdoms installed and patched to 1.5.

Currently the file containing the warhammer mod is in my user file, do I need to move it somewhere for the .bat to be effective in initializing?

You must have the mod's folder in your "M2TW/mods" folder. Otherwise, it won't be able to find the .exe

Alright so I did everything that needed to be done, and when I initialize the .bat it is successful, but brings me to the retail loading screen for total war, I get a blank error message, and it exits.

I'm sorry for all the trouble I would really just like to play this Mod haha.

You need to start it by clicking on warhammer.bat not mtw2.

I did click warhammer.bat....

hmm... did you download any sub-mods? If so, I'm pretty sure your version is incompatible (you have version 1.01, right?)

I did not, just the straight 1.01.

I also play TATW if that matters?

hmm... I recommend installing all of the patches up to 1.031. 1.031 is more stable than the earlier versions.
