The Russian Infantry

how should i use the russian line infantry in single player
they have mad skills in charge but their shooting skill are not so great so how should i use this to my advantage when later on into the campaign i go against the other european powers like england and france?
ottomans are really easy to beat since their shooting skills are about the same as my line infantry

Try to be the defender in every battles. e.g. besiege and don't assault cities immediately, and your men will get the first shots. Try to occupy on high grounds to gain advantage against the enemy. Use your cavalry effectively, Cossacks and uhlans should deliver lightening charges to wipe out enemy artillery and light infantry. Don't charge your infantry blindly against the enemy unless you outnumbered them, because your men will suffer heavy losses againsst their rapid musket fire.
Instead, try to flank the enemy with your infantry, lowering their morale and the AI tend to change directions of their units if they are flanked, so you charge from either side and finish them for good. Don't concentrate all of your units against one because the huge blob will be eliminated by flanking enemy. Russians are practically invincible in melee.

So what's the general consensus on the changes to the Russian infantry? Honestly i just noticed them lol...

The super high charge bonus and big increase in defense is nice, but their melee attack values are only average now... seems a bit iffy(especially considering the British foot have an above average attack, and the same amount of defense... on top of the machine gun musket skills). Anyone have any experience with them before and after the changes? Better than before or worse?
