Is this game worth the buy?

Thread: Is this game worth the buy?

I have Empire total war and I love it. I was just curious if this game is worth buying and if it's any better than Empire total War. I'm not looking for arguments here over the two games just looking to see if this game is solid.

I noticed that the campaign map is a lot smaller than ETW. Anyways some input on the game would be great, especially from people who have played both games a lot. Thanks!

Also I see an LE version of the game and another version called the imperial version. Which one is better?

oh, yea definitely worth a buy for sure. It improves many aspects and the campaigns are different enough it gives a very different feel. I definitely preferred N:TW over E:TW, and suggest every Total War lover should buy it.

Firstly By any means I recommended you to buy from normal box. you will get 5 extra units, buying from steam nullified this benefit.

Imperial version means you get nicer box + 10 extra units for paying 10 extra dollars. I am recommended since that special 10 units have not been release on separate pack yet.

    Comparing between ETW and NTW?
Yes, Grand Campaign is smaller (150 to 60 regions) and limited nation (unless you use mod)

    Beside that that
NTW has better Path-finding AI, They are ready to shoot faster (I'm not talking about reload, but does matter but I am talking about ready up)
Better Graphic + Better historical accuracy for uniforms
Each nations stats are different, they are not copy cats like in ETW
    more detailed campaign map
Smarter AI (comparing to Vanilla ETW)
    much more....

    Recommend or not?
Despite the shorter game, but all the time you spend with it will be a quality time, if you love ETW, you will love NTW
I never get back to touch ETW since.

So I should buy this from a Gamestop instead of steam? I perfer to have an actual CD anyways lol So the normal version is the best one to buy?

yea, definitely get the disc. not only do you get the 5 free units, you don't need to wait for the 20 gig download, it only takes 15 min to install from disc.

Don't believe me too much, despite all TW Vets saying ETW is not good, I still love it so bad.
So above are only 1 opinion, you can wait for more people to answer this thread to be sure.

Anyway, at least it really was better than ETW.
