The group is named in the article. It is a Pakistani Baluchi group which is allegedly funded by the CIA according to media reports, although I have not seen any official confirmation from US government sources.

In view of the threads topic, I havent researched this yet. But Mossad or CIA are usually safe bets.
As the CIA sponsored "green revolution" failed so badly and didnt overthrow the legal administration of Iran, they might use some more forceful means now.
It isnt that easy to overthrow Iran a second time, as they did with mossadegh back then.
