Go play MPC

ok its been a while since i gave MPC a go.

but im happy to say Valkierei AG and i are giving it a go together against each other. if u have an idea how we both play u would know how epic this is going and it only the first night. we are doing the Europe campaign on VH/VH

omg it is just sooooooo much fun - ive seriously never had so much fun playing NTW

battles are just awesome and just counter after counter.

we have a 5 min limit on turn so you have to be quick to adjust your strategy and try at the same time imagine the cunning plans of your opponent.

absolutly fabulous - go get a friend who wont quit and has some skill and go play.

5minute turn time makes it more fun, cos you dont spend ages deciding what/not to do.makes the game/and battles impulsive.sounds really fun

nah i didnt win - i hop we can continue this game or maybe start a new one tonight i cant wait to vs a val lead prussian nation with a huge production line of fuselliers and cav - can u not imagine how epic that would be.

if anything the ai won - it caught us both by supprise - that a rebel army could be so OP - it was seriously like - 8 cav 20 line 6 lights - all with about 5 chevrons. It would have decimated either of us at that time.

We both had a heap of fun and given the randomness of some of the army compositions when we battled as ai - really winning battles was really not that important but significant to just inflict as much damage as possible. Which given the context of the game was probably more fun for both of us.

Val is a great friend and a great player - i dont think it would be as much fun unless you have that sort of mutual respect.

Out of the 120+ people on my friends list I can't think of any who wouldn't rage quit upon facing my vast stacks of light infantry.

I thibk Hard campaign is better setting than very hard. very hard just gives huge amounts of money that is way to much if the armies get controled by humans. Me and valkierei can't agree on that to play. I played over 40 MPC and I konw what are the best settings to get a well balanced interesting game. And very hard is not. So hard campaign and normal battles. Play as Ai, default play battles, 5 min. turn, 60 min. battles, don't follow ai.

I'd like to make a correction to my earlier statement about the difficulty settings. as you said, VH is ridiculous indeed. im in a match against termi and the german states all have 20 units+ in them by turn 5 or 6. and when moscow came into sight of my army invading it during turn 7, it had 20 units too =.= obviously i had to retreat my 10+ units. the additional gold is seriously too imba. lol. so here's my apology. H/N best for mpc =)

Can you belive that. I got an apology. Wonders happen. I told you guys VH is to much money when humans operate the AI army.

i forgot to mention - the use of art in MPC

i think its fair to say i cant recall a mp game against val where either of us used art. however during the MPC we both had art in all the battles - omg our poor horse art was thrown around the battlefield like rag dolls as we both rushed to position art for maximum effectiveness as close to the action as possible - the fact we have never probably used art against each other b4 really added that extra dimension to the epicness of the battles.

well sir nicholas, i prefer vh/n or vh/h, vh/vh. anything less feels unjustified being that it was not CA's best swing at me never mind their resorting to cheap tricks like stat or gold boost =p

you complain about them having extra cash, but if the AI were not, would it not be unfair for the AI who can't whore regions or military accesses away to fight you?

i also like 5 min turns, 20 min battles. being that when you attack, you have that sense of urgency to get the job done, very exciting really. and as defenders, you can play for the time out, instead of simply committing manslaughter; an extra and very intriguing dimension to the game. changes everything almost.

ps major hemmorrhoid, its campaign, i can put arty in front of u, swing my cav over to reinforce my armies from your back! and sandwich u. and your lil lights without squares will pee their pants. besides, in a campaign with no unit limit. you should fear my stack of militias, mass produced, vs your stinky lil lights =)

I'm in the middle of a good MP CAMP against the first concil(where has he gone from twc btw)it's great fun,and a experience all tw lovers should try just like sea battles.

i love going russia and trying to protect Austria,and then trying to get a good fleet of steam boats out to up Frances eco.
I would love to have a game against you Val,i'm sure you smashed me a couple of times in my early days of ETW and your a bit of a legend.
