Very irritating question!

hello world! I've got an issue that I've been unable to solve for quite some time now. I have ROME: TW installed, and I've been able to succesfully patch it to 1.3


heres the thing. ive got the patch exe for the 1.5, but EVERY single time I try to update, it says 'this will patch 1.3 to 1.5, you can download the 1.3 patch from www.totalwar.com '




any suggestions?

delete Rome and also the register so that you are sure that you have nothing from rome anymore on your computer and then do a clean install

What language do you use for Rome if i may ask ?

thats the thing.. i just did a clean install this morning! and it depends, i have my software running in three languages.. i installed rome in english. hah

hmm and you downloaded the 1.3 patch from www.totalwar.com ?

Hi there.
The main question here would be: How is your RTW patched from scratch? Is it necessary to actually patch it to 1.3 before going 1.5, since some editions, like the Gold Edition, is already patched up. Are you sure the 1.3 patch is propperly installed (can be seen on the in-game menu). If not, you might be using a "wrong" patch, like a EU version for a US game.
