    Default Polish roster

Hey I've changed the Polish Faction for DLV. I will not upload it at once, firts I want to hear what the committee thinks about it Look at the pisc and comment, suggest or else...
I've based on Russichi, TATW, SS, and of course DLV Weapons, shields and helmets I've taken from Russichi TW, voi bodies and woodsmen I've taken from TATW, some skins I've taken from SS and DLV. I don't know which are original medieval TW models and skins, and which are made by modders. I hope they don't mind I've used their work. I do not intend to derive benefits from this. My only intention I to help DLV team with Polish faction.
    Full list of Polish units:

    Woodsmen
    Voi Spearmen
    Voi Levies (javelinmen with shields)
    Spearmen
    Kusznicy (Crossbowmen)
    Hand Gunners
    Halberd Militia
    Spieszeni Pancerni (2h swordsmen)
    Spieszeni Rycerze (Dismounted Polish Knights)
    Crossbow Militia
    Voi Archers
    Arquebusiers
    Voi Cavalry (Mounted Sergeants)
    Merchant Cavalry Militia
    Druzhina
    Pancerni (Feudal Knights)
    Husarze (Heavy Hussars)
    Rycerze (Polish Knights)
    Choragiew Krakowska (Polish Guard)
    Strzelcy (Shooters)
    Choragiew Goncza (Heavy Shooters)

I have left siege weapons and ships unchanged

Looks superb, Carlick! It really adds a more unique look to Poland, and I look forward to seeing what else you've worked on.

If only every faction could have at least unique skins, such as this project, Magyar Mod, the Norwegian units and CBUR....oh, one can dream haha

Very interesting indeed, and quite exciting, but I can't really judge based on such tiny blurry pictures.

Can you show some high quality screenshots?

Also, what are you doing about the units shared with other factions? Abandon them? Reskin?

Ah the Poles, that one and Magyar faction really needed a recheck to make them better. What else have you changed? Are you going by historically accurate units? (say yes please)

Thorolf was thus armed. Then Thorolf became so furious that he cast his shield on his back, and, grasping his halberd with both hands, bounded forward dealing cut and thrust on either side. Men sprang away from him both ways, but he slew many. Thus he cleared the way forward to earl Hring's standard, and then nothing could stop him. He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. [...] 53, Egil's Saga
I must tell you here of some amusing tricks the Comte d'Eu played on us. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.

He he, I would ask MADTAO to have a look and give a comment then. He is the most qualified as far as I can tell. He himself have also made a slick looking Polish roster himself.

Do you know this jewish proverb? Where two jews are mitting, there are three opinons? I've red many discusions of polish historians, about historical correctness of polish roster. I'm waiting for thier opinions, because even if somebody painted some polish medieval units, it doesn't means they are historical correct. Many of those pictures are unfortunetely unhistorical

They could be good but... with such poor quality graphics it's really impossible for me to tell. Sorry

Is it all your own work? Models and textures made from scratch? I notice you haven't credited anyone else, just wondering

I've used any available sources I didn't credit anybody, because I don't even know who I have to credit and because I haven't upload my mod yet I've decided to not make units form a scrath, cause there are many samples around which I can use, and most of all I'm not a professional 3d modeller... I've based on Russichi, TATW, SS, and of course DLV

I suggest you credit everyone that has contributed their work. Or else someone might give you a more credit than you actually deserve...

Oh and of course permissions are always a must

Thats why I didn't upload it, first I wanted to hear sugestions from committee. I'm not an experienced modder, so I might not know about the rules. Can you help me with this? Is it enough to write that I've based on Russichi, TATW, SS, and DLV?
