    Default Battle of Waterloo

I have recently installed the game, Imperial Edition, and on the Napoleon Battles on the main menu, I see that I can play the Battle of Waterloo even when some other battles are locked (most of them except one or two) Is this normal? I thought that you have to complete the other battles before you can play Waterloo.

Also, when I select the Battle of Waterloo on the menu, a video starts to play. I see the subtitles but there is no voice.

I started the Battle of Waterloo on Normal difficuly and I won easilly even before the reinforcements came. Again, are all those normal things or there is something with my game?

EDIT:Hmmm... No reply so far and 30 views. I guess you all went to try this out when you read this .

Do you mean playing as the British or as the French?

When you go to Napoleons campaigns, start them and then quit it. Then keep going down the list till you hit waterloo.

In the Imperial Edition patch CA added the British version of Waterloo for NTW. Previously you can only play as the French and need to unlock all previous battles (Btw, the campaign one is slightly different to the Napoleon's Battles one).
The British don't need to unlocked and can be played immediately. And CA didn't make voice for Wellington, only the battles you played as the French got the voice.
By the way, playing as the French are a lot harder than the Brits. Try it, and good luck.

Indeed. So, you can play the Napoleon's Campaigns version of the battle immediately (by doing the start/quit thing with the other campaigns), and if you require a further challenge, play all of Napoleon's Battles unlocking them as you go until you get to the Waterloo battle, in which your units will start with less chevrons than the Napoleon's Campaigns version, making it significantly more difficult. Up your difficulty level from there if you require more challenge, or are a sadist.
    Still playing Napoleon:TW

But you will get more cannon, on the campaign one, they are all fixed and unmovable
however on the single battle one, you will get more and movable

    and another difference are cutscenes

I'm pretty sure both versions of the battle give the French 1-12lb, 1-8lb cannon & 1-6lb horse artillery, no?
I think all of them are moveable as well (none in entrenchments).
    Still playing Napoleon:TW

Yeah, the cutscenes are really good. It's extremely enjoyable to watch. I saved the Italian campaign, Egyptian campaign, and the European campaign when I already destroy the last enemy stack in Klagenfurt/Damascus/Moscow respectively in case I just want to watch the videos.
