Hello everyone.

Great mod! but this happens like every turn, this CTD is extrimelly annoying and it corrupts my saves. It occurs during loadings, sometimes randomly during movies on campaign map, once happened in battle. Any ways to solve this? May cheats cause this ( im playing mod 1st time so used " toggle_fow " )? Sorry if there was a similar topic, but need some help.

Cheats will not cause the game to crash. It is also 'normal' for the mod to crash, so it isn't just you.

However, my Real Warhammer sub-mod contains a custom campaign that is suppossedly "CTD Free", so that may be the mod for you. You can find it by clicking on my signature below.

Isn't the custom campaign the same just with no script enabled?

Yes, and no.

In the Sandbox campaign, you can chat with anybody you'd like and there are no predefined alignments. Also, after version 1.04 is released, I would like to balance out the armies that appear in the scripts, so they look less like "copy and paste" and more like the nation's fighting style.

And how does that work, the diplomacy I mean? Does Empire attack itself now?

It's possible, yes.

Tested the game with mod , without mod, with some extra addons , even found some anti ctd sub mods, nothing helps, it randomly crashes during loadings which corrupts save games. It is really annoying i am not able to play properly , how do you guys manage with that?

And i cant figure whats making it crash , i save game , loose battle or something , or exit game completelly , next time i load it it ctd's with the error. Maybe im doing something wrong , i installed v1.2 of game , then sound mod, then 1.3 patch and 1.3.1 patch , then installed translation mod and over it Real warhammer following by Anciliaries mod. Crash Crash Crash.....

So, you're saying that it crashes when you load a saved game?

yes , with nearly 100% rate, tried to play for empire now, same thing , if i dont load anything game runs fine, when i exit the game to desctop theres no way back , Unspecified Error. Game will now exit " upon loading of save, and it corrupts all of save games. Any ideas what may cause this?

here, try the text folder that is attached. It is the one I use. It may help. Delete your's first, and then replace it with mine.

Well my save look truly dead. I didn't get a CTD from in the game I saved and closed the game down as normal but when I next came to load it up I get the CTD with the unspecified error message. I followed the instructions on the CTD thread with the text file supplied by The Holy Pilgrim (backed up my old folder first) and replaced the current folder with HP's version. Still the same so then I deleted the holder completely and copied HP's folder into the data folder but still the same. Any ideas? Looking like I'll need to start over.

I'm sorry if you already said this, but do you have Windows 7? If so, you MUST delete your Virtual Store and turn off your UAC. Those two things make it very difficult to replace and extract files.

No I have Vista. I think my UAC is on though is it an issue with Vista too?

I might just do a complete re-install and save the saves and see if that works. If not then the saves must be corrupted just seems strange that both my save and the auto save don't work.

UAC in Vista is more badass then in Windows 7 , by turning it off you not only help Yourself but also Your computer.

Turned it off and tried again but still the same. I even deleted the text file and replaced it with Holy Pilgrim's, started a new game with any faction and tried to load but still the same problem. I'll try an re-install now and see if the save works after that.

Yes I've been trying to get this mod to work all week, and it keeps crashing at random times, during turn phase and sometimes before and after a battle. I've disabled the UAC and all the files the other sites say to delete. I have versions 1.4.4 with music and version 1.4 with out. I also downloaded 1.4.4 patch and english translation, because i read that the music one can make it crash and ppl without the music didn't have any issues, but in either version it will still crash with Unspecified error has occured and game will now close. Could anyone help me?

I get CTDs like everyone here, but only after about 8 turns in a campaign. Then during the ai's turn, it just randomly crashes and then I get bored. Anyway to fix it? Win 7, uac off, version 1.4 english no torrent.
