    Default Waypointing and battle AI

I played this mod and overall it has many very good aspects, however...

After testing some mods and vanilla RTW, I have noticed when compared to others EB has quite terrible battle map troop waypointing and control of own troops is very poor. Is this intentional and can it be modified? Campaign map is also tricky because the besieged towns occupy so large area. It is a bit too easy to accidentally start a second siege force when just attempting to merge new troops to the old siege force. After testing Darthmod, which is almost easier than vanilla, I would like to know have the campaign and battle AI's been somehow modified?

I'm not sure what you mean with terrible troop control on the battle map...? I have no trouble guiding my formations.

Path finding can be a pain at times during seiges, but that's RTW for you.

    AI is unmoddalbe in RTW.

No it's not RTW. In vanilla the waypointing, skirmish and fire-at-will work in a much better manner. Skirmish mode just barely works in EB although in most cases your troops just stand in line and get butchered. Fire-at-will is very slow to stop own troops from firing when other troops are engaging in battle with the enemy. The result is a nice pile of friendly kills. One example of troop control is that when you draw a new battle line on the map the troops may start to reorganize the line and the west wing may throw troops to the middle and vice versa. Other unpleasant thing is that the troops take odd turns while moving to the target area. This did happen in RTW but it's more visible here.

Don't group your units, but just multi-select them.

I never group and I've never encountered such problems.

    I don't group either.

Then the problem must be on your side rather than an EB problem...

There are several battle formation mods in the sub-mod forum.

And really, shame on you for coming in here and insulting the mod creators. CA's bad AI is not their fault.

I did not come here to insult the mod creators. I merely pointed out my observations of the mod in the hope of finding a better solution to the problem. I don't understand what battle formation mods have to do with this.

I've had a few control problems myself that weren't noticeable in vanilla Rome. Occasionally a unit won't move, it might clump up on itself, and, most often, units won't stop once they reach their destination, or they won't get in a straight line. If I notice this happening, I can just quit, reload, and start the battle again, and the problems are gone.

    I can't mod though, so I won't complain.

This problem has nothing to do with mods as you clearly but implicitly noted in your post here. You might order units somewhere, but they'll forever be "marching" because they haven't lined up PRECISELY the way the engine wants them to. It's silly. The engine has virtually no tolerance for destination positioning of individual soldiers. If even 1 soldier is off by a metre, the whole unit is "marching" and not in order.
