my MTW2 work work properly

when im on the campaign map the screen like flickers and when in battle map when i try to attack a load of red stuff flickers any reason why?

also MTW2 also runs kinda slow even though my pc is way fast enough. Specs:

32bit windows 7
2.4Ghz quad-core processor
3GB DDR2 RAM
512MB graphics card

NVIDIA GeForce G100

(not the best but should be enough)

Have you tried lower settings? it's indeed probably a graphical card issue, but you can be happy it doesn't make your pc reboot, he did that with me.

It a lowend card. Post your dxdiag. http://shoguntotalwar.yuku.com/topic/10016 is a good guide how. This game requires Shader 2 and I find nothing in the card's specs about Shaders.

Its definately not a lowend card. GF100 is newer then the one I have and I run the game just fine.

Newer does not mean better. My old 9800GT is btter than his.

Actually, it does the same thing for me. Not so strangely, it does it harder with Win7 than XP, but, in any case, it's still doing this. When i start a campaign, each battle done add some lag to the strategic map, and after 2 or 3 more (under 7, twice when xp) it becomes unplayable and i have to savez quit and relaunch the game.
